Ana Lívia Zeitune de P. Silveira

A Geologist with a degree from UNESP (1999) and Master’s degree from UnB (2006). From 2000 to 2007, she worked in construction sites and laboratories at Furnas, and from 2007 to 2008, at CNEC Engenharia, on large dam projects. She has served as supervisor of the New Business and Innovation area at ABCP since 2008. She has been working in the area of new technologies for over 25 years with the goal of improving concrete durability and characterizing materials. Her work includes the assessment of the physical and chemical characteristics of construction materials and assistance in reducing concrete production costs, ensuring that the characteristics specified for each project are met and that the structure is durable. She participated in Brazilian Committee 18 (CB-18 – Cement, Concrete, and Aggregates), of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), as a reviewer and developer of standards and guides, as well as the IBRACON Technical Committee, in the development of Recommended Practices.
