Holder of a PhD in Sciences from the School of Public Health at the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the School of Engineering of Bauru at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP). He has a degree in Civil Engineering from the (UNESP).

He has been an employee of CETESB since 2003, with experience in the areas of environment, water resources and basic sanitation, in his role as Manager in the Waste Sector, at the Support Division for the Control of Pollution Sources, and in the Environmental Agency of Mogi das Cruzes. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Executive Assistant of the Board of Environmental Control and Licensing.
