Civil engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, master’s degree in Sanitation, Environment and Water Resources from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and doctorate in Water Resources from the Civil Engineering Program (PEC) – COPPE/UFRJ – Civil Engineering Program from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She was General Director of the Minas Gerais Water Management Institute, Deputy Secretary and Undersecretary of Inspection of the Environment and Sustainable Development Department of Minas Gerais.
