A PhD in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with a research line on circular economy and sustainability in the built environment, and holder of a Master’s degree in Engineering and Materials Science from the same university. She has a specialization in the Graduate Program in Logistics and Operations Engineering (Lean Logistics), from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), where she graduated in civil engineering.

She is currently a professor at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) and is part of the staff of the Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (UTFPR, UFPR), in the Construction Management and Sustainability research line and the specialization in Sustainable Construction (UTFPR). She participates in the international research network Circular Economy as a Strategy for a More Sustainable Construction Industry (EcoEico) and Circular B. She is also part of the technical committee of the research network MORE: Well-Being and Low Carbon in Housing.
