Over 30 years of experience in cement industry, and is an expert in the field of low carbon advanced cementitious materials. Enlisted in Talents Honored by National New Century Millions of Talents Project, he is an expert enjoying special government allowance from the State Council. He holds various positions in different organizations/associations, including, strategy and technology expert of international cooperation in Ministry of Science and Technology, senior consultant of China Cement Association (CCA), co-chair of GCCA Innovation Working Group (WKG5), senior member of RILEM TC-SCM, etc..

Noticeably, he has received a variety of significant awards/titles, among them, secondary prize in State Invention Award, China Outstanding Engineers, ACI Outstanding and Sustained Contributions in the Broad area of Concrete Technology, etc..
